Manolis Chatzigiannakis

Manolis Chatzigiannakis is an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Processing and Performance group at Eindhoven University of Technology's Mechanical Engineering Department. His research focuses on experimental soft matter at the intersection of interfacial science, rheology, and polymers. Current projects include BIOSEL (bio-sourced microcarriers for health-promoting cargo delivery) and FluorFree (plant-derived alternatives to PFAS-based firefighting foams).

He holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from National Technical University Athens and an MSc in Polymer Science from Technical University of Berlin. His PhD research at ETH Zurich examined freestanding thin liquid film dynamics under Professor Jan Vermant.
