Manjula Nair is an Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering & Physical Sciences, Heriot-Watt University. Her research focuses on environmental and materials science, with a strong emphasis on water treatment and pollution control using advanced nanomaterials. She actively contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to clean water and sustainable development. Key research areas include MXene composites for pollutant sensing, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for water purification, and sustainable adsorption technologies for heavy metal and dye removal.
