Mani Srivastava is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He holds the Mukund Padmanabhan Term Chair and serves as Vice Chair of Computer Engineering in the ECE Department. His research focuses on embedded systems, mobile computing, and IoT technologies.

His research interests span embedded software, ubiquitous and mobile computing, human-cyber-physical systems, security and privacy, mobile health, Internet of things, and energy-aware computing. His work addresses hardware-software co-design for resource-constrained systems and real-time sensing.
