Manh Hung Do

Dr. Manh Hung Do is a researcher at the Institute for Environmental Economics and World Trade, Leibniz University Hannover. He holds a PhD from the same institution (2024) and a Master of Science in Public Policy from Yeungnam University, South Korea. His academic career includes roles as a Postdoc (2024–present), Research Assistant (2020–2024), and prior research roles in Vietnam.

Research focuses on policy impact assessment, shocks and resilience, rural development strategies, livelihood analysis, and global trade dynamics. Key projects include the Thailand Vietnam Socio Economic Panel (TVSEP), a DFG-funded long-term study examining poverty and income dynamics.

Publications emphasize climate impacts on agriculture, gender roles in cooperatives, FDI effects in Vietnam, and policy evaluations of rural development. His work combines quantitative analysis with field surveys, addressing real-world challenges in emerging economies.
