Manela Glarcher

Manela Glarcher is a Researcher at the Institute of Nursing Science and Practice. Her work focuses on strengthening healthcare quality and patient safety, particularly in advanced nursing practice and complex intervention development. She holds roles such as Deputy Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Research and Education (since 2022) and Honorary Fellow at the University of Wollongong (since 2021). Her research interests include patient safety, outcome measures, and nursing competencies in anesthesia and palliative care.

Glarcher has led and contributed to multiple projects, including studies on advanced practice nurses' roles in Austria and Australia.
