Mandë Holford

Mandë Holford is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Hunter College and the CUNY Graduate Center. Her research focuses on the biochemical properties of venoms from marine mollusks, including snails and cephalopods, with applications in drug discovery for diabetes, heart disease, and pain management. As the inaugural holder of the Anne Welsh McNulty Chair of Science Innovation and Leadership, she emphasizes advancing women in STEM and fostering interdisciplinary research.
