Mandy Elizabeth Moore

Mandy Elizabeth Moore (she/her) is a Research Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Literature, Media, and Communication, affiliated with the Writing and Communication Program. Her work intersects media studies, rhetoric, and posthumanism, examining how nonhuman entities shape communication in digital spaces, fandoms, and queer contexts.

Research Focus:
Her scholarship centers on posthumanist methodologies, fan studies, and media analysis, particularly in children’s literature and television. She explores rhetorical practices within fan communities and the role of media in constructing identity and meaning.
