Mandana Farsani

Mandana Farsani is a Lecturer at Mozarteum University Salzburg's Department of Elemental Music & Dance Education – Orff Institute. She specializes in inclusive pedagogical approaches for children with refugee experiences and leads the 'Nava' group for migrant-background youth. Her work integrates artistic education with social inclusion.

Education:

• MAE in Elementary Music and Movement Education (Orff Institute, Salzburg)
• Violin and Tombak specialization (Tehran Azad University)

Research focuses on culturally responsive music education for displaced populations. Since 2015, she has worked extensively with refugee children, developing innovative teaching methods. Starting 2025, she will teach 'Elementary Music-Making Orff-Schulwerk' to bachelor's and master's students.
