Prof. Malte Jochum is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Change Ecology at the University of Würzburg. His research focuses on understanding how global environmental changes affect ecological communities, particularly in soil systems and multitrophic interactions. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Göttingen (2016) and has conducted postdoctoral research at institutions in Leipzig, Bern, and Göttingen. His work bridges theory and application in biodiversity-ecosystem functioning, energy flux modeling, and invasive species impacts.
