معرفی
Dr. Mallory Green is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Wake Forest University. Her research focuses on chiral interactions using advanced spectroscopic techniques, particularly photoelectron circular dichroism (PECD) and gas-phase spectroscopy. She holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry (2014, Georgia Southern University) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (2020, Emory University), followed by postdoctoral research at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society in Berlin (2020–2024).
Her research explores chiral-sensitive phenomena in atmospheric and interstellar environments, as well as enantioselective analysis of metabolite biomarkers for biomedical applications. By developing novel instrumentation, her group aims to address challenges in chiral detection at low concentrations and elucidate mechanisms driving enantiomeric excess in natural systems.
- Education:
- B.Sc. Chemistry, Georgia Southern University, 2014
- Ph.D. Chemistry, Emory University, 2020
- Postdoctoral Researcher, Fritz Haber Institute, 2020–2024
- Awards:
- Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (2021–2023)
