Malin Hedlin Hayden is a Professor in Art History at the Department of Culture and Aesthetics, Stockholm University. Her research focuses on 20th and 21st-century art with particular emphasis on sculpture, video and moving image art, theoretical issues, historiography, and display practices.
Key research projects include Rhetorical feminism: gendered artists and political beliefs (2015-2017) funded by the Swedish Research Council. She has developed university courses at all levels, including master’s programs on exhibition spaces and PhD-level reading courses.
