Dr. Emmanouil Malandrakis is an Assistant Professor at the Applied Hydrobiology Laboratory of the Department of Animal Science, Agricultural University of Athens (Greece). He holds a Diploma, MSc, and PhD from the University of Thessaly, with specialized training in molecular biotechnology (EMBL, Heidelberg) and laboratory fish science (IMR, Bergen). His research focuses on functional genomics in marine species, molecular endocrinology, selective breeding using molecular markers, and aquaculture systems optimization. He has industry experience as a dairy production manager and expertise in research project management.
