Makarand Paranjape is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Georgetown University, with a formal background in Electrical Engineering. His research focuses on biomedical sensor development, nanotechnology, and microfabrication, conducted at the Georgetown Nanoscience and Microtechnology Laboratory (GNμLab). He has mentored students across undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral levels.
