Makane Moïse Mbengue

Makane Moïse Mbengue is an Affiliate Professor at Sciences Po's School of Law, teaching General International Law and WTO Law. He is also a Professor of International Law at the University of Geneva's Faculty of Law, where he obtained his Ph.D. in Public International Law.

His research spans international public law, WTO law, registration, security interests in personal property, international sales, and international commercial arbitration. Mbengue has served as Lead Expert for the African Union's Pan-African Investment Code and acted as an international law advisor for organizations including the UN Economic Commission for Africa, World Bank, and WHO.

Scientific awards include the Anthony Mainguené Prize for his contributions to international law. His expertise extends to international dispute settlement, environmental law, investment law, and sustainable development negotiations.
