Majid Ezzati is a Professor and Academic Director of Imperial Global Ghana at the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. He is based at the Sir Michael Uren Hub on the White City Campus, United Kingdom.
Education: Holds a PhD in Science, Technology and Environmental Policy. Prior training includes electrical and computer engineering.
Research focuses on integrating environmental, health, social, and quantitative data/methodologies to address public health and global health challenges. Directs the Global Environmental Health Research Group, collaborates with the NCD Risk Factor Collaboration (NCD-RisC) and the Pathways to Equitable Healthy Cities Study. Specializes in primary field data collection, analytical modeling, and interdisciplinary approaches.
Labs/Teams: Active in leading multidisciplinary research groups addressing global health equity, non-communicable diseases, and urban health pathways.
