Maja Đolić

Maja Đolić is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. She was elected to this position on November 4, 2021, and maintains her office in the TMF building (Room 208). Her work focuses on applied environmental engineering, with an emphasis on pollution mitigation and sustainable resource management.

Research Interests: Her expertise spans environmental monitoring, industrial ecology, risk assessment in occupational settings, wastewater/gas treatment technologies, and organic pollutant analysis. Specific areas include nanomaterial applications for contaminant removal, waste valorization, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

Student Advising: She actively mentors graduate and doctoral candidates, overseeing theses on topics such as pharmaceutical risk management, microplastic remediation, heavy metal phytoremediation, and advanced water purification techniques. Her cohort includes both domestic and international students.
