Maik-Carsten Begemann

Dr. Maik-Carsten Begemann is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Cultural Studies, University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf. His academic career includes a previous Visiting Professorship (2021–2022) and long-term lecturing roles (since 2015) at the same institution. He focuses on empirical social research within social work, particularly in youth welfare and school social work contexts.

His research interests center on the educational potentials of social work, organizational change in youth services, and digital media applications.
