Maia VanDyke, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her expertise lies in urologic trauma, prosthetics, and reconstructive genitourinary surgery. She earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern, completing her residency under Dr. Claus Roehrborn and a fellowship under Drs. Allen Morey and Steve Hudak. Dr. VanDyke joined the faculty in 2023 after honing her skills in urologic trauma and reconstruction.
Her research focuses on surgical innovations such as penile prosthesis revision techniques, urethral reconstruction, and management of male stress urinary incontinence. Notable contributions include studies on artificial urinary sphincter efficacy and novel approaches to urethral stricture repair. She has published extensively in journals like Urology, BJU International, and Neurourol Urodyn.
