معرفی
Mai Katada is an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, The University of Tokyo. Her research focuses on low-dimensional topology, algebraic topology, and the study of Jacobi diagrams and IA-automorphism groups of free groups. She investigates the algebraic structures of stable (co)homology groups of automorphism groups of free groups and their analogues to mapping class groups of surfaces.
Her work includes publications in prestigious journals such as Université de Grenoble. Annales de l'Institut Fourier and Journal of the Institute of Mathematics of Jussieu. She received the 15th Kyoto University Tachibana Award in March 2023 for her contributions as an outstanding female researcher.
Katada's research connects knot theory with algebraic and category-theoretical approaches, emphasizing module structures on spaces of Jacobi diagrams under the actions of automorphism groups of free groups. She maintains active collaborations and participates in academic seminars and conferences.
