Dr Mahmud Masum is a Lecturer at the Adelaide Business School, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics at the University of Adelaide. He joined the university in 2006 after a 5-year career in the banking and financial sector (1998-2003). His research focuses on institutional reforms in developing countries, particularly examining intersections between corporate governance, financial reporting, and public accountability.
