Mahi R. Singh

Professor Mahi R. Singh is a faculty member in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Western Ontario, where he has held the position of Professor since 1995. His research focuses on theoretical condensed matter physics and light-matter interactions in nanocomposites.

• Investigates high harmonic generation for nanoscale optical applications

His recent publications emphasize the control of photoluminescence in hybrid quantum emitter-metallic nanoparticle systems, plasmon-enhanced harmonic generation, and light localization in composite materials. Collaborative work includes advanced studies of nanofiber-based plasmonic devices and nonlinear optical processes in metallic nanohybrids.
