Magritt Lundestad

Magritt Lundestad is a Lecturer in the Department of Kindergarten Teacher Education at Oslo Metropolitan University, Faculty of Teacher Education and International Studies. She also serves as a study leader (area 1) and is an active contributor to the research group on Leadership, Guidance, and Organization Building. Her work is deeply rooted in early childhood education, with a focus on leadership, organizational development, and pedagogical practices.

Notable contributions include her 2024 article on the "5 Columns of Identity as a Supervisor," her 2023 chapter on owners' governance of mentoring practices, and her influential textbook series on conflict resolution in kindergartens. She has also contributed to research reports, such as the 2020 evaluation of the Oslo and Viken model for kindergarten-based competence development.

She actively collaborates with colleagues including Charlotte Johannessen, Mette Vaagan Slåtten, and Cecilie Thun. Her recent dissemination activities include presentations at the OsloMet-Malmö Faculty Conference and the National Network Conference on mentoring for newly qualified teachers.
