Magdalena REGEL-ROSOCKA

Dr. Magdalena REGEL-ROSOCKA is a Professor at Poznań University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering. She has been serving as faculty coordinator of the LLP Erasmus+ programme since 2020 and is actively involved in supervising doctoral theses and coordinating EU-funded teaching projects.

Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Engineering from Poznań University of Technology (1999), a PhD in chemical sciences (2003), habilitation in chemical sciences (2016), and she was awarded the position of university professor in 2019.

Professor REGEL-ROSOCKA's research focuses on metal recovery and separation technologies, with particular emphasis on:

• Separation of organic compounds and metal ions from aqueous solutions
• Metal hydrometallurgy including leaching and extraction processes
• Technologies for recovering metals from waste streams such as used catalysts and e-waste
• Membrane separation techniques including diffusion dialysis, polymer inclusion membranes, and hollow fibers

Her work demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainable processes and circular economy principles, particularly in the recovery of valuable metals from secondary sources. She has published extensively on topics related to platinum group metals recovery, e-waste recycling, and innovative separation techniques, with numerous publications in 2024-2025 showing her continued active research.

Professor REGEL-ROSOCKA serves on the editorial boards of two journals from the JCR list: Physicochemical Problems of Mineral Processing and Revista de Metalurgia. She is also a member of the Polish Chemical Society since 2012.

She has supervised multiple doctoral theses, mentoring the next generation of researchers in chemical technology and metallurgy. Her international collaborations span institutions in Spain, Belgium, and India, reflecting the global impact of her research.
