Magdalena Filter-Pieler

Magdalena Filter-Pieler is a researcher at the Institute of Social Ecology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). She is currently involved in the project Resilience and Malleability of Social Metabolism at the Wegener Center for Climate and Global Change (University of Graz), funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). Her research focuses on environmental sociology, sustainable economic systems, and the interplay between social and ecological processes.

Project Participation: The Resilience and Malleability of Social Metabolism project investigates how societies adapt to environmental shifts through material flow analysis and systems theory, spanning from 2024 to 2029.
