Magdalena Błażek

Magdalena Błażek is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Medical University of Gdańsk. She leads the Division of Quality of Life Research and is a member of the PRA 1 palliative care research team. Her work integrates health sciences with psychological research, focusing on stress management, family resilience, oncological patient care, and medical student well-being. Dr. Błażek holds a doctorate from 2001 and has a strong publication record (37 publications) with a MEiN Score of 2,260.

Her research spans topics including fatigue management in oncology, postpartum depression risk factors, and the psychological impact of divorce. Notable contributions include Polish adaptations of resilience measurement tools and studies on patient-clinician communication barriers.
