Madhavan Swaminathan

Madhavan Swaminathan is Professor Emeritus with joint appointments in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech, now at Penn State. He previously led Georgia Tech's Center for Co-Design of Chip, Package, System (C3P3) and served as Deputy Director of the NSF Microsystems Packaging Research Center.

His research focuses on advanced design, modeling, and fabrication of microsystems for applications in high-performance computing, AI, automotive systems, and broadband wireless. The 3D Systems Packaging Research Center he co-directed conducts multidisciplinary research across design, materials, process, assembly, thermal management, and integration.
