Madelyn Filomeno

Madelyn Filomeno is an Adjunct Professor in the UConn DPT Program at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She earned her B.S. in Allied Health Sciences (2013) and DPT (2016) from the same institution.

• Specialized in acute care and neurological physical therapy
• Certified in Parkinson’s Disease, Brain Injury, Stroke, and Neurological Physical Therapy
• Focus on mobilizing complex ICU patients with devices like ECMO and ventricular assistive devices

Her research includes evaluating LSVT BIG treatment for Parkinson’s patients presented at CTAPTA Annual Conference in 2016. She began her academic role in 2022 to mentor emerging physical therapists.
