Mabel Morales Otero

Mabel Morales Otero is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Navarra, affiliated with the Cancer Center Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CCUN) and the Instituto de Ciencia de los Datos e Inteligencia Artificial (DATAI). She works within the research groups DigiMedLab Digital Medicine Lab and StatData Diseño estadístico y análisis de datos.

She earned her PhD in 2023 from the Universidad del País Vasco - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea with a thesis titled Bayesian spatio-temporal conditional overdispersion models for count data proposals, estimation and applications, supervised by Dr. Vicente Alfredo Núñez Antón and Dr. María Pilar González Casimiro.

Her research focuses on advanced statistical methodologies, including Bayesian spatio-temporal modeling, digital medicine applications, and statistical design for data analysis.
