Małgorzata Grabarczyk

Professor Małgorzata Grabarczyk is a distinguished academic at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, Poland, where she serves as Director of the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Head of the Department of Analytical Chemistry within the Faculty of Chemistry. With a career spanning over two decades at UMCS, she has held multiple leadership positions including Vice-Dean for Scientific Research and Cooperation with Industry (2016-2019) and Deputy Director of the Institute of Chemical Sciences (2019-2020).

Her academic journey at UMCS includes earning a Master's degree in Chemistry (1993), followed by two PhD qualifications (2002, 2009), and achieving the rank of Professor in 2019. Professor Grabarczyk's research focuses on advanced electrochemical methods for environmental analysis, with particular expertise in stripping voltammetry techniques for trace metal detection in complex matrices.

Her scientific work demonstrates consistent innovation in developing sensitive, rapid, and cost-effective electrochemical sensors for environmental monitoring applications.
