MEOLI Michele is an Associate Professor at the Department of Management, Information and Production Engineering, University of Bergamo. He holds a PhD in Economics and Management of Technology and has been affiliated with the University of Bergamo since 2008, advancing from Researcher to Associate Professor in 2018. His research focuses on Corporate Finance, Academic Entrepreneurship, and Higher Education Policy. He serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Technology Transfer (since 2023) and European Journal of Higher Education (since 2022). His work bridges entrepreneurial strategies in public institutions, sustainability in education, and crowdfunding dynamics.
Education: PhD in Economics and Management of Technology (University of Bergamo, 2007), Degree in Economics and Business (University of Bergamo, 2002). His teaching includes courses on Financial Systems, Management Engineering, and Fintech.
Research Interests: His studies emphasize sustainable practices in universities, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and the impact of austerity policies on institutional innovation. Recent work explores green internal marketing in higher education and the role of team diversity in academic spinoffs.
Publications: Over 172 works, including high-impact articles in Journal of Technology Transfer, International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. Themes span equity crowdfunding outcomes, university governance under austerity, and ESG integration in crowdfunding platforms.
Grants & Leadership: Active in EU-funded projects like ANTHEM (Advanced Technologies for Human-Centered Medicine) and MOST (National Center for Sustainable Mobility). His leadership shaped the University of Bergamo's entrepreneurial strategy during financial constraints (2009–2015).
