MEHMET OGUZ POLAT serves as Professor at MEF University Faculty of Law and Director of Acıbadem University's Crime and Violence Research and Application Center. He teaches forensic medicine, medical malpractice, criminology, and violence across medicine, law, and psychology departments at five faculties. His career includes founding Marmara University's Forensic Medicine Department (1990), serving as Ministry of Justice Forensic Medicine Institution President (2000-2003), and research roles at Case Western Reserve University (2009-2012).
