MEDET İĞDE is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Gaziantep University, Turkey. His academic journey includes a PhD in Business Administration (2020), a MSc in Accounting and Finance (2013), and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (2011). He has served as a Research Assistant (2013–2021) and currently teaches courses in Accounting Information Systems, Advanced Financial Accounting, and Cost Accounting.
Research interests span Accounting, Financial Reporting, Internal Control Systems, and Digital Transformation in Accounting. His work on Crypto Assets, Green Accounting, and Volatility Spillover Effects reflects engagement with contemporary challenges in finance and ethics.
Publications include 7 books/chapters and 6 peer-reviewed articles, focusing on SME financial compliance, accounting education, and technological integration. He has supervised theses on topics like Tax Literacy and Crypto Asset Taxation.
