MARIA TERESA CANCELO MARQUEZ

María Teresa Cancelo Márquez is a university professor affiliated with the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), where she holds a position in the Department of Quantitative Economics under the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences. Her academic work centers on econometrics and quantitative analysis of economic development, particularly within European and international contexts.

She earned her doctorate from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1996, completing her thesis on "Study of the competitiveness of the Spanish industry within the community framework and an econometric analysis". Her career extends beyond academia into politics, serving as a councilor in Santiago de Compostela (2014) and as a deputy in the Parliament of Galicia (2015).
