MARIA SOLEDAD GARCIA TASENDE

MARIA SOLEDAD GARCIA TASENDE is a Professor in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Santiago de Compostela. Her research focuses on coordination chemistry and bioinorganic applications, particularly the interaction of metal complexes with biological molecules.

• Education: Doctorate (1989) in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela, with a thesis on organometallic cations of mercury (II) and thallium (III) interacting with pyrimidine derivatives.

She is affiliated with the AICMO research group (Coordination Chemistry and Bioinorganic) and contributes to advancing toxic inorganic chemistry and organometallic compound studies.
