MARIA JOSE FERRACES OTERO

MARIA JOSE FERRACES OTERO is a Professor at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Santiago de Compostela, affiliated with the Department of Social, Basic and Methodological Psychology. She contributes to the Behavioral Sciences Methodology area and is actively involved in research groups ESCOLCA - Knowledge and Educational Action and COSOYPA - Social Behavior and Applied Psychometry.

• Doctorate (1985) from the University of Santiago de Compostela with the thesis "Attentional processes and the influence of 'Set' on the perception of complex pictorial stimuli", supervised by Dr. Cristina Rechea Alberola.

• Focus on Behavioral Sciences and Methodology, specializing in attentional processes, perceptual psychology, and psychometry.
• Investigates educational action and applied psychometry, contributing to understanding complex cognitive behaviors.
