MARIA ESTRELLA SAYAS BARBERA is a Professor at the Department of Agro-Food Technology, School of Agro-Food Technology, Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH). She is affiliated with the University Institute for Agro-food and Agro-environmental Research and Innovation (INIA) and contributes to the research group focused on Industrialization of Animal Raw Materials.
- Teaching Areas: Coordinated courses include Management and Exploitation of Agro-Food By-Products, Meat and Fish Technology, and Innovation in Meat, Dairy, and Fish Products
- Research Focus: Biosustainability, food industry co-product assessment, and sustainable agro-food practices.
