MANUEL GUAITA FERNANDEZ

Manuel Guaita Fernandez is a Professor at the Department of Agroforestry Engineering within the Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering at the University of Santiago de Compostela. His research focuses span sustainable environmental and forest management, bioresources, and structural analysis of silos using the finite element method.

He earned a Doctorate from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 1996 with a thesis on the finite element method applied to silo calculations. Currently, he is affiliated with the UXAFORES research group, part of the Strategic Grouping in Sustainable Management and Production of Bioresources (BioReDes).
