Prof. Mahmut Toprak is a full Professor of Chemistry at Bingöl University's Faculty of Science and Letters. He has held roles including Department of Chemistry Chair (2022-2024), BÜBAP Coordinator (2018-2024), and BÜSEM Deputy Director (2017-2020). His academic journey includes a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Atatürk University (2011), followed by research and teaching roles since 2005.
Research focuses on spectroscopic analysis of molecular interactions (e.g., dyes with biomolecules), adsorption science (pollutant removal using natural/modified materials), and fluorescent sensor development.
