Dr. M. Rodwan Abouharb is an Associate Professor in International Relations at the University College London's Department of Political Science. Previously, he worked at Louisiana State University. He holds degrees from Brunel University (B.A.), SUNY Brockport, University at Buffalo (M.A.), and Binghamton University (Ph.D.). His research focuses on the intersection of international economic organizations, human rights, and political processes. He examines how policies from institutions like the World Bank, IMF, and WTO affect human security and governance. Current projects include studying distributional politics under IMF programs and the effects of international economic policies on individuals. He has authored/co-authored books including *Human Rights and Structural Adjustment* (2007). Awards include the Rainmaker Award (2008) and Excellence in Graduate Research Award (2004). Teaching interests include rebellion and economic/social rights, supervising PhD students exploring human rights practices.
