M. Fabricio Perez serves as the Vice Dean and Arthur Wesley Downe Professor of Finance at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University. He has been a faculty member since 2008, contributing significantly to academic leadership and institutional development within the business school.
His educational background includes a PhD from Arizona State University, forming the foundation for his scholarly career in quantitative finance and econometrics.
Professor Perez's research focuses on econometric theory and financial econometrics, with specialized expertise in asset pricing models, corporate finance, international finance, and derivatives markets.
