Prof. dr. mr. M. (Rinus) Otte is a Professor of Criminal Law & Criminology at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Law. He also holds the position of Vice-president at the Gerechtshof Arnhem (Arnhem Court of Appeal). His research focuses on criminal procedural law, traffic law, and traffic engineering, with a particular emphasis on judicial organization, legal transparency, and forensic care collaboration.
