Mélanie Weynants

Mélanie Weynants is a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry, affiliated with the Biogeochemical Integration (BGI) department. She contributes to the project groups Scalable Spatiotemporal Data Structures and Analytics and EarthNet, focusing on interdisciplinary research bridging biogeochemical processes with advanced data modeling techniques.

Her work centers on environmental science and climate modeling, utilizing machine learning and spatiotemporal analytics to study Earth system dynamics. As part of the Global Diagnostic Models research group, she develops computational frameworks to analyze complex ecological and atmospheric datasets.
