Dr. Lynne Spackman is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Politics at Sheffield Hallam University's Sheffield Institute of Social Sciences. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience from University College London and brings extensive clinical experience from NHS trusts including Moorfields Eye Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Her academic roles include lecturing, module development, and serving as International Mobility Coordinator and Level 5 Year Tutor.
Her research focuses on cognitive neuroscience with current projects investigating word consolidation during sleep, audio/visual crossmodal effects on perception, and electrophysiological markers of environmental influences on well-being. She maintains professional memberships with the Association of Neurophysiological Scientists and British Society for Clinical Neurophysiologists.
