Lynn R. Wilkinson

Lynn R. Wilkinson is a Professor of Germanic Studies, Comparative Literature, and Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Texas at Austin's College of Liberal Arts. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. Her primary affiliation is with the Department of Germanic Studies, and she is affiliated with the Women's and Gender Studies Program, Center for European Studies, French and Italian Department, and the Texas Language Center.

Her research focuses on 19th- and early-20th-century European literature, culture, and film; women writers and gender studies; literary and cultural theory; and Scandinavian film and literature. Key research areas include comparative literature, modernism, Scandinavian drama/film, and narrative traditions. She also engages with performance studies, popular culture, and language studies.
