Lynn L. Cole, DNP is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Rochester with joint appointments in the Department of Pediatrics, Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics (School of Medicine and Dentistry) and the Department of SON Faculty (School of Nursing). She co-leads the FASD diagnostic program, directs clinical services in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, and teaches nursing students.

Her research focuses on FASD, ASD, psychopharmacology, and expanding healthcare access. She serves as Primary Investigator for the University of Rochester's Autism Care Network and co-investigator in statewide ED/hospital care training programs for developmental disabilities. Current work includes ADHD treatment optimization in ASD and RNA biomarker discovery.
Selected scientific awards include the George Spencer Terry Endowed Fund in Nursing (2019), Autism Opportunity Award (2016), and Clinical Excellence Award (2006). Her publications span 2024-2002 with recent emphasis on tele-mentoring for FASD, parental decision-making, and biomarker research.
She advocates for system-wide improvements in developmental disability care and provides trauma-informed clinical services to high-risk pediatric populations.
