Lynn Kwiatkowski is a Professor in the Department of Anthropology and Geography at Colorado State University, with affiliations to the Colorado School of Public Health and the Women’s Interdisciplinary Studies Program. Her research focuses on gender violence, hunger, global health, and international development in Vietnam and the Philippines. She holds a Ph.D. (1994) and M.A. (1989) from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. (1983) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Her research examines the intersections of gender inequality, global health policies, and cultural forces in Southeast Asia. Key topics include wife abuse in Vietnam, marital sexual violence, and the impacts of hunger among Ifugao communities in the Philippines. She authored Struggling with Development: The Politics of Hunger and Gender in the Philippines and has published in journals like Anthropology Now and Urban Anthropology.
She has served on the Executive Board of the Association for Feminist Anthropology, including as Secretary (2011–2014). She actively advises graduate students in medical anthropology, gender studies, and related fields.
