Lynn De Mey

Lynn De Mey is a researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) within the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy. Her work focuses on molecular imaging and nuclear medicine, particularly in oncology and inflammatory diseases. She holds a PhD and is actively involved in clinical trials and radiopharmaceutical research. Key areas include PET/CT imaging of macrophages, HER2-positive breast cancer, and CD163-targeted therapies. She has received a prize for her 2022 study on FDG PET/CT in intensive care patients. Lynn has presented at multiple conferences and collaborates internationally on translational imaging projects.
