Lynden Miles is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychological Science at The University of Western Australia (UWA), having joined in 2019. His academic journey includes a PhD in Psychology from the University of Canterbury (2005) and postdoctoral research there, followed by a RCUK Fellowship at the University of Aberdeen (UK). His research focuses on social interaction dynamics, particularly interpersonal synchrony and its impact on social cognition, mental health, and group dynamics. He integrates complexity science frameworks to contextualize psychological processes.
