Lyn Kidson

Lyn Kidson is a Researcher at the Australian Centre for Ancient Numismatic Studies (ACANS) within Macquarie University's School of Humanities. Her work focuses on intersections between ancient numismatics, New Testament studies, and early Christian history. She holds a Doctorate and has been affiliated with the university through a Professional Casual appointment.

Her research interests include biblical exegesis of Pauline epistles, analysis of early Christian material culture, and exploration of Jewish-Christian identity dynamics. Kidson has contributed to understanding Roman imperial propaganda through coin imagery and its New Testament contexts, as well as gender roles in early Christian communities.
