Lyes Kadem is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering at Concordia University, where he also serves as Director of the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Fluid Dynamics. His research focuses on cardiovascular fluid dynamics, medical devices, and advanced imaging technologies such as MRI and ultrasound. He specializes in hemodynamic analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and 3D printing applications in medicine.
Dr. Kadem leads a multidisciplinary team investigating flow dynamics in heart valves, cardiac devices, and disease models.
